Maryland AG, 14 Others Urge Biden Admin to Extend TPS for Nepal, 6 Other Countries Set to Expire in 6 Months.

The list of states whose Attorneys General are involved includes: New York, Arizona, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Nevada, and Vermont.

DHS Secretary Mayorkas is stepping down next week.

That was his sole decision on extending TPS to countries, based on the report his staff prepared for him. Under the Homeland Security Act of 2002, he has the authority to make such decisions as part of his role.

All folders that needed to be checked, all files that required signatures, and all tasks that needed to be completed are done. That’s it. Letters and requests will keep coming, though.

Every thread regarding TPS reminds me a story that I had heard long ago. Any negative or positive thread is not different than a word to window either wait for marrying or not marrying her.
Both False Hope and Positive hope are beyond our reach to forecast so stop spreading it.

No response from Sampurna Pokhrel sir. Which makes it seems like all this time he was misleading all these TPS holders. He said 'good news is coming' at least 50 times in the past month.

There is no good news so far. Today is Friday and Monday is Trump inauguration.

Why would someone find that much pleasure in misleading and providing false hope? Either he is a psychopath who gets pleasure at the discomfort of others or he is a pathological liar.

Why has he disappeared now that his prediction has been proved to be false?

I think sampurna's heart is in the right place and as a TPS holder himself I think its just been wishful thinking on his part. Regardless, TPS isn't and never was something to depend other than a temporary backup. Hopefully we hear some good news by the end of the day.

Anyone have any insight to the EAD date? currently, EAD is set to expire in march and TPS in june. wondering if they will extend the EAD until june or just let it expire in march.
