DHS removes Nepal as TPS designanted country
The DHS website has now removed Nepal as one of the countries "currently" designated for TPS.

off topic: my passport is about to expire in one month...if i have to go back home without renewing my passport, can i apply for one way travel document with one month time left on passport or even expired? i really do not want to make that trip to DC ayle ko situation ma...any suggestions?

With expired passport i do not think you can travel anywhere .
If your passport is about to expire yes u can go back one way home. If you are thinking that nepal still have TPS and u are looking forward to go DC for renewal then its a bit risky. DHS has discontinued nepal tps on aug 20 on its website already .
For any overstay or out of status before its like hitting ur own feet with ЁЯкУ. One important question tara...can ICE detain me at airport if i am already traveling back to nepal with no status? Can they still detain and deport me anyway even if i am willingly going back on my own expense?

I think it's 6 months IIRC. Plane ticket liyera CBP app ma information halidyo bhane kehi gardaina hola. Asti samma ta plane ticket kinna pani paisa di rathyo voluntary departure lai. All the best!
