Quagmire, 3.0 GPA is not enough . But I might be wrong here. There are so many players when you apply for Graduate school and so many factors that they look @ and besides all, it matters too where u applying. As newlynew said, be little more open when u ask these kind of questions. I know a person who has perfect GPA in undergraduate, but didn't got any form of assistanship. He applied to some of the top 25 universities. Few things that matters when applying to masters


ur undergrdaute GPA (most importantly last 60 credit hours ) however, this depends on college


ur activities and participations in various organaziations


ur resume and work experience.


how close u are with teachers ( in most cases the head of the deparments decides who gets what), and luckly he is ur teacher in undergraduate too. links with the current guy who is about to graudaute and its his place u will be taking.


GMAT or GRA score


ur purpose of statements


essays


and i guess i missed few others here.... and finally offcourse college where u applying. theirs fund, total no of applicants, their expectation of students overall perfromance, and few others
