Forefathers of US came from all over the world. So they could build their own society in a new found land. Forefathers of Nepal came from arround Southeast asia, arround the same region. Because of the diversity democracy works in US. Nepal is less diverse that is why even when we had democracy, we couldnt hold on to it. Freedom? Human Rights? It is the collective effort. Just because we have democracy doesnt guarantee that. Look at US, in the name of their freedom they are killing whoever they want, just because they are a bigger country doesnt give them rights to go to Iraq and conquer it does it? Hypocritical would be people who are aloof of the situation in Nepal, aloof of their own roots. I believe that when we accept what we are and try to deal the situation in effective way is only the way out.
