Isolated, I would be happy if I knew even if only ONE person attended the rally with genuine concerns for democracy in Nepal, or even if only ONE person realized the value of free debates through a contribution of the rally to the trend of talking OPENLY about matters that affect us, or even if only ONE person THINKS about returning to Nepal, let alone actually doing so. थोपा थोपाले समुद्र बन्छ। Some one has to start somewhere. It is a TREND that has been started, and contributions to that trend that this rally has made, all that matters to me. You don't even have to go far to notice that trend -- we are following it vibrantly and vigorously right here in Sajha, right here in this thread, for instance. I don't think we can deny the fact that discussions right here in this forum have been contributing to greater awareness among the people, discussions on the King being just one of them.
