Happy holi to everyone... as someone living abroad... i miss most festival but .. miss holi the most...
One quick note... All Nepali community organises Dashain Party, Tihar Party, New Year Party, Teej Party, Loshar Party... but I have hardly heard of people living in diaspora Celebrating Holi..... Lets organise Holi Parties !!

If you were from Valley, guessing you spend time throwing lolas from your roof. To see the real holi you need to be in Tarai.

I am from Kathmandu Valley, The way we celebrate is not as grand as the way it is celebrated in terai but, thats our way.
I have celebrated holi in terai as well. Its really good. But I am used to with the way it is done in Kathmandu, so I miss that more.

The reason we don’t celebrate it like that is we will get either sued or arrested if we do it the way we did it in Kathmandu.
