Why are Muslims violent? Why they always seem to be fighting?

Cowboys you are also one of the muslims, you know that, such hatred and jealousy leads u to become like muslims leaders, These are the people who can be easily trapped. Now i bet cowboys can be used by some punk arse and make him his religious militant or political militant. If you have hatred towards them, and make them criminals then, they will be. Even a dog can be made sudice bomber or anything, finnally they are able to make a human bomb. Again, leaders make them follow, brainwashed them, like u have feeling for them.

I think the originator of this thread knows nothing about Debasur Sangram, Mahabharat, Gadhimai mela or Old Testament.

1) They blow up Buddha statue in Afganistan for no reason

Christians used to be violent too (eg. the crusades) but they became civilized.

Hindus are still violent to some extent.

Buddhists are quite peaceful.

But Muslims, they need to grow up.

Dude if all the muslims united and started war, i dont think you and i would be still alive, only some are fighting and i repeat again and again, Religion is made by man and they used religion to mobilize human beings like U. Modern way of war. @8848 - Don't get me wrong. I know hate breeds hate. I don't hate all Muslims. I hate extremist Muslims. There is a reason repeated offenders are given harsh punishments, and everyone knows, which religion has most terrorists. The day this fact changes, I promise you, I will change my opinion about their religion. Till that day I will believe there is a fundamental flaw with the religion, because the leaders of their religion preach violence. Every religion thinks they are the best, because people are made or brought up  that way, u beleive in shive or bramhma, do you care about allah or r u sacred jesus would say so. But muslims have gone to extreme level and only the thing is Osama and other leaders mobilized people using the religion as the easiest weapon. U can see the real history about the war between the religion, was the religion such violent before world war two, no, Some leaders become selfish about terriotory, hitler wanted to be yamaraj of this narka, lol, so, 2nd generation i mean from our dads generation, i am putting gradfathers as  first generation the war about religion started but muslim leaders took it to extreme level. Muslims were made to beleived that religion is greater than their own life, those terrorist would never been in that plane if those leader had brainwashed him and given them hope of being son of allah, oh man, all those innocent lives, not only them they made whole muslim society a ghost, or i say gobbersigh, but there are muslim people who think differently who have dreams. If you go to den of lion and roar, you will become victim, live and let live. We all need to start thinking out of box or frame. i do agree muslims are terrorist but if one selfish redneck christain says "We should be only religion in this world" then, their followers will start same freaking way, being brainwashed, but they will never figure out it is wrong killing people. i know like gangs they will start dying for no reason. And i hope this craizniess in this world for religion and race will stop, people will beleive in happiness, life, help, all together, one world one love, peace.

I am all for peace bro. Peace in Nepal, peace in the World. The hippie culture is what I would love to see make a comeback. But on the topic at hand, are you saying Muslims are violent or not? I am confused now because you are giving mixed arguments. Since you directed some questions at me I just wanted to make sure.

I strongly beleive religion and  people are not violent but they are made violent either it is for any caste, religion, race.

Hindus and buddhists are also violent dudes. Take sajha bloggers for example. 90% fo the time they talk about race, rajya, division, spit hatred towards each other.

It is definitely true that muslims are comparatively very strong and rigid on their religious belief.  They get ready to do whatever for their religion. If a muslim has to slit throat of own parents, they will do it if they are convinced that this is for their religion. This is absolutely true.

But they are not violent by nature  as your topic said.

i do not hate muslim....I love them, specially girls...they are damn gorgeous :) . I actually had number of muslim friends during my college years. They are pretty good, nice guys.

I really recommend all of you to watch "Osama" movie. you will definitely like it, guaranteed.

Speaking from personal experience and not assuming things.

During my collage years, I did have few Muslim friends from all over the world, Yemen, Saudi, Algerian, Paki, Bangla to name few. These were well educated guys from descent families attending good schools, some ultra rich, they followed everything Western except the faith. So these are my experience

1. You cannot make them listen to anything about other religion. They lack tolerance and compassion or even the slightest interest in other religion except Islam.

   
   

2. Men alive a double standard, way too much than us. They can date and have sex with any women (mostly non Muslims) but not their women. My Saudi friend used to change girlfriends more than his underwear, so did the other rich Saudis whom I did not know well enough. They were sex manics, money to throw like water, ultra expensive cars.

   
   

3. These same guys used to get upset over the thought of their Muslim woman's infidelity. Muslim women should only stick with their own, is what they firmly believe. They eventually end up marrying a Muslim women (usually preferring fresh, virgin) despite all their affairs, and they also expect their wife to at least wear a hajab (very liberal one), the more the cover on their women, the better. Imagine, what those illiterate fundamentalist villagers would do? No wonder, they have honor killing of their daughter and stoning women to death.

   
   

4. Very ethnocentric. Most really do not care of geography. Some of them never cared where I was from despite me being their friend. I showed them few time the map of the world, including where Nepal was. They look at world map very differently...Muslim countries Vs the rest (including us), which is one gigantic enemy waiting for an opportunity to strike Islam as soon as they turn their back. I used to think some of these guys were paranoid.

   
   

5. They hate everybody and do not TRUST non Muslim if they have to accept it honestly. They think their rules are the best. God, they have no manners even with that much wealth and education, they simply refuse to learn the Western values. I barely saw any of them hold doors for the person behind, esp Saudis who think in terms of royalties and luxury. Words like “thank you, please and excuse me” are rarely used.

   
   

All and all, I felt like these guys are NOT to be kept close for long. So eventually I starting keeping a distance and now I'm free from them except for one, who is a Bangladeshi. I've found them more tolerant, more like Muslim from India, or maybe they have no time to be a hard core since they are busy with corruption back home. Just a guess. They hate Pakis cause of the history.

Somebody mentioned Pakis being very peaceful referring to the smooth and gentle language of Urdu. Buddy, you've been watching too many Pakitani TV shows. Know the reality, history and experience them in real life. Grow up son. Pakistan is a breeding ground for Taliban and other Jihadis where little kids are taught to hate and blow up people, brainwashing at Madras that are all over the country, an outcome cause of poor, unstable, corrupt and frequently changing power in the government.
