हाम्रो देश नेपाल बाट सन्युक्त राष्ट्र सघ को ६४यौ महधिवेशन मा भाग लिन न्यू-योर्क शहर मा हाम्रा सम्मनानीय प्रधानमन्त्री , माधव कुमार नेपाल आउनुभएको आवशरमा वहाँलाई हार्दिक स्वागत छ ।
सम्विधान निर्माण को प्रकृया मा भएको हाम्रो देश नेपाल ले आहिले धेरै चुनौती हरुको सामना गर्नुपरेको छ । यस्तो समयमा सन्सार भरी रहेका हामी नेपाली हरुले आफ्नो आफ्नो आस्था र बिचार जे जस्तै भएतापनि, खुला मनले देश को प्रतिनिधित्व गर्न आउनुभएका, सर्वदलिय प्रधानमन्त्री को भ्रमण माथि गौरव गरेका छौ ।
यस्तो आवसरमा हामी अमेरिका मा रहेका नेपालीहरुले आफ्नो तितोपना "कालो झन्डा" को प्रदर्शन मार्फत होईन कि, "छलफल को चौतारी"को माध्यम बाट व्यक्त गर्नुमानै बुद्दिमता देखिन्छ ।
त्यसैले, "कालो झन्डा" र अवरोध कार्यक्रम का आयोजक महोदयहरुलाई मेरो यो अनुरोध छ कि, उक्त कार्यक्रम स्थगित गर्दै, छलफल र सुझाव को कार्यक्रम राखेर अमेरिका मा रहेका सम्पूर्ण इचछुक नेपालीहरुलाई अन्तर्कृयामा सामेल गराउदै, देश निर्माण मा सहयोग जुटाउन आनुरोध गर्दछु ।

१) मेरील्यांड, भर्जिनिया, वाशिंगटन डी सी, र ड़ेलेवेर राज्यहरुका ६७ जना हाम्रा नेपाली साथीहरुलेपनि २-२ ठाउमा हारेका प्रधानमंत्री माकुनेलाइ कालोझंडा देखाई बिरोध गर्ने कार्यक्रममा सहभागी हुन आउने सूचना दिएको जानकारी गराउदछौ !
२) कनेक्तिकट, न्यू जर्शी र न्यू यार्कका अरु ९४ जना नेपाली साथीहरूले २-२ ठाउमा हारेका प्रधानमंत्री माकुनेलाइ कालोझंडा देखाई बिरोध गर्ने कार्यक्रममा सहभागी हुन आउने सूचना दिएको जानकारी गराउदछौ !
हुन त म पोलिटिकस को बारे केही जान्दिन त्यही पनि आफ्नो दुई शब्द भने कोर्न मन लाग्यो , देश छोडेर पर्देश सम्म आएर आफ्नो गुजारा सबै ले म जस्तै गेरी रखेका छन । देश प्रेम को भावना मलाई जस्तै अरु लाई पनि छ , तर म बिशेष सोच मा परेको छु । चाहे ने क पा एमाले होस् , वा नेपाली कांग्रेस अथवा माओवादी , अन्तराष्ट्रिय भ्रमण त्यो पनि सन्युक्त राष्ट्र सघ को ६४यौ महधिवेशन यो कुनै पोलिटिकल पार्टीको भेला होइन यो देश को प्रतिनिधित्वो गर्न आएको "Head Of State " हो ।
सो प्रतिनिधित्वो गर्ने लाई कालो झन्डा देखाउनु भनेको देश को मान मरियादा लाई उलङघन गर्नु हो । नेपाल को प्रधान मन्त्री लाई कालो झन्डा देखाएर प्रधानमन्त्री को बेईज्जत होइन आज नेपाली ले प्रदेश मा आएर आफ्नै मात्री भूमी लाई लात हानेको झै मलाई लाग्दछ । अमेरिका आएर देश को नाम राख्ने बिचार का नेपाली हरु यो कुरा बुझ्न नसकेको देखेर मलाई खेद लागि रहेको छ ।
I am ashamed to read the thinkings expressed by above commentators. I just donot understand why someone against UML or COngress is labelled as Maoist ! Why can't people understand that everyone who voted for maoists were not maoists ! People wanted change, people want change and it is clear that neither congress nor UML can deliver change that people have been seeking eversince. Had they been the solution, we would never have been where we are at present. Losers reigning upon us if that is what these sensible people commenting above want, two times loser the nation's PM, Koirala confering with India for dismantaling and forming government, Sujata Koirala Nepal's new Messiah is what they call democracy and lokatantra, Pardoning Dhamala is what they see to be rule of law and end of impunity then I have nothing to say. But I will definitely be there to wave the black flag as a Nepali Citizen to express my disapproval to their mockery towards People's Mandate, Election results, Pardoning of a white contrband and Totalitarian Koiralacracy.
By the way Rajbhanu........whether makune should be or shouldn't be PM is our internal matter. He is here as a representative of Nepal. No need to make mockery of Nepal.

Tribhuvan University is holding three convocation ceremonies this year to make up for those it failed to host in the past three years due to political disturbances. When Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal visited the university's main campus in Kirtipur for its 34th convocation ceremony today, he was greeted with black flags by Maoist cadres who also pelted his motorcade with stones.
The protesters tried to block the PM from attending the ceremony. Police charged them with batons, but some Maoist cadres entered the convocation venue and chanted slogans as soon as he started his address to the students.
The Maoists have announced a nationwide protest to pressurise the government to table a resolution in Parliament against the President's move to reinstate the army chief last year, which they have been calling 'unconstitutional'.
They have been boycotting official functions involving the President, the Prime Minister and other ministers.
"It is said that education should pass through their character," Nepal said. "They seem to lack morality." He also complained about the growing culture of anarchy in the country's universities.
On Monday, the Maoists tried to block President Ram Baran Yadav from attending a function in Pokhara. The day before, they tried to prevent the PM from attending Purbanchal University's convocation ceremony in Biratnagar.
