I need some rebounding help and I will be allright even though i have had 2 bad weeks. Chuck Atkins, Luke Walton and Tim Thomas are available for trade. Need rebounding.

Oys bro, i looked at your roster and i don't think there is anything we can do to work out a big deal...i mean you already have a good roster so i can't ask for too many of your big men and it doesn't make sense for me to just give away No.1 scorer (i am exploring trade for melo...for those who aren;t aware :p i would love to have kidd & crawford (or would even consider ben gordon) for melo & juan dixon (or someone else of his caliber)...im not asking for this trade but just throwing something at ya for you to explore. but i thinkg KG4MVP bro might be an ideal for both you and i...i'm sure both you and i wouldn;t mind to have AI in our roster :p

I_K, looks like your patience with brad miller is gonna pay off...thanks to your much favorable schedule your injured roster didn't hurt you the frist few weeks of the season...also you got very lucky with monta and j.r. so it just might be your lucky year hehe now that the draft is over, i think you getting boozer in the 5th round and lakers4ever getting deron williams in the late round (was it 6th or the 7th round??) was the biggest steal of our draft. FA steals probably belongs to Flash for kevin martin and you aren't that far off too with your pick up of jr smith.

as for me, i like my roster much better than i did after the draft night...i feel much confident about points, rebounds, and block...feel like i'm just one move closer from getting who it takes for me to win 3pts and steals night in and night out (as i already have a solid base for these 2 categories but missing that 1 final piece of puzzle). that leaves to FG% FT% & assist....i've pretty much given up on assist unless i can pull off a blockbuster deal but i higly doubted even if such deal are made will get passed without getting vetoed by other managers since PG are hot commodities for everyone....FG% & FT% are just as much about luck as they are about strategy. so as long as you don't have anyone shooting in the .300s range for FG% and .600s range for FT%, everyone should like their chances in these 2 category.

damn lakers4ever bro...didn't realize deron williams was your 12th pick...shame on all of us passing on him like that...but you know really though i remember draft night i was gonna pick him but i remembered you picked him just before i did in the same round...LOL oh well could have should have would have...hehe

I was also eyeing Deron williams but I didn't thought about him until it was too late :), it's funny how no one wanted Cassell on the draft nite and for my 10th pick I think i was too confused to pick anyone and by default I got cassell, which worked out well for me. In the FA I had to choose between JR Smith and Kevin MArtin and I just decided to go with martin , I wasn't sure Smith would remain consistent, I should ve picked them up both...

U know what guys...My biggest mistake is that i ma die hard lakers fan..i could have picked Dirk over KObe but...u all know...Kobe is in my rosters for last 3 years...isnt that crazy or what...is it my luck or i just love pickin him up...hahahah.

never in my mind i had boozer or diaw to pick on draft nite....i had to be away from my computer for 10-15 mins....n they got autopicked.....

Seems like everyone is fairly happy with what they got except for few wrinkles.
Before I start on my players..... I need to acknowledge the fact that I feel sorry for OUR COMMISH. I was in similar "situation" the whole of last year. Again, if he can manage a very short gap (not fall too behind from the 4th 5th 6th seeded guys) from the playoff contenders I am sure his patience will pay-off well. We all need to make to the playoffs. Once playoff starts we are all 0-0-0. So, my wishes are with the Commish. ANd hey..... you got lots of guys I really want. C. Webb-PP-Jeffs-Davis. Let me know if you would consider trading any of them!!

Now to the roster. Okie its the holiday season so I am still open to the Trades. Still in a GIVING MOOD:)

Well, I took a little safer approach to this draft. I invested high picks on some guys based on potentials. My roster is not very glamarous. Bandi bro can probably say the same thing. I gambled on few picks. I left YAO-Marion etc. on board when I was on. I gambled on AMARE even though his ratings were not very high. I thought he is still young and very talented to pass on. Plus, I thought he would come back as himself. MVP candidate of 2004 season. His comeback should have a some effect on Marion and DIAW (I didnt pick him for the same reason). So far Amare is catching up. I am sure in few weeks he will see his playing time increased to 35+ minutes a game. So that should help my cause. Wade is Wade. With SHAQ banged up, Wade is carrying the load on his shoulder. Those two are my 1st and 2nd rounders. I believe I picked up Peja in the 3rd round. I needed a good FT% and a 3pt guy. I still believe Peja is the best "pure shooter" in the whole of NBA. Once Amare is back to his old self, I might argue as my top 3 picks being the best top 3 picks also. BOGUT is not living upto my expectations. I thought he would improve vastly in his second season. He has been so and so. With the pick I invested on him I could have had a better value. nevertheless he only has UPS. I picked up Iguodala because I had to pass on DIAW. These two are like carbon copies of each other. JOSH SMITH I believe was ranked top 10. I wasn't very high on him but I had to pick him because I thought the FANTASY Experts won't rate him too high if he wasn't good. Not too bad of an investment for a middle rounder. Alston- I had him last year. With Yao and TMAC around I thought he would contribute in ASSISTS + should get good layup lanes with the defensive attentions focused on ther other two big guys. Harris-he was in my roster last year-Dallas has too many injury riddled Guards so Harris was my safe pick as a backup. He gets to start-even better. Hill- he disappointed me last season. I am giving him a second chance. So far he is returning the favor nicely. Dampier-I took in for Rebounding purpose. Last year I was really short on C, PFS. I made sure I had enough of them this time. P.J. Brown and Rookie T. Thomas were my bigger disappoinments. So, they had already seen the backdoor. Delwonte West-fella Celtic was the biggest disappointment. Thought he would DO really good this year... so far.. he has fallen. I guess I am on the winning side of the deal in a trade with HUKKA. Thanks people for not vetoing it.
Overall I do have a very competitive roster. Maybe little low on FT% and Shot blocks. TOO high on Turnovers. I try to focus on 5-6 categories. So, I am willing to give up on few areas. Despite the guys I had drafted I am not getting as many Assists. I probably was top on ASSISTS last year. I need Alston to increase his ASsists drastically. OVerall- balanced team. We will see how it pans out come Playoffs.

Keep it coming people. BTW-Am I playing the COMMISH anytime SOON? Would have been 7-2 0n him each of the last 3 weeks:) I don't want to face in his full strength. Looks like a CLOSE battle against AX-Bro this week. Would been 3-6 against him last week but really close on FG%, FT%, Ribbies, Steals. So, lets see if I can end his undefeated streak now.

I need to see lots of UPSETS this week to keep the standings a little tighter.

hey I_K, lamar for carmelo isn't a fair deal at all..and i'm sure you know it. my thinking behind trading carmelo is getting a 10+ assist per game guy. even though lamar is kinda like a point forward type of guy, i doubt if he's averaging more tha 4 assist. oddly enough so far this year, kobe is really sharing the ball and is racking up on assists by giving up on points...although it might not last very long and lamar might be that guy. another downfall on lamar is his injuries...he's been injury prone in the past.

now if u mix jermaine oneal or emeka okaor....now we're talking!! LOL of course i would give you melo and good role player. if you are still interested thinking about it and shoot me an offer.

hey celtics...i'm happy for ya for the trade we made. at least it worked out for one of us. but i really don't mind having a guy or 2 that i can use to add and drop each night...i will just address my needs via FA on a weekly needs basis...it works for me. and may be one of these time i will bump into someone worthy of a permanenet roster spot. i'm feeling really good about my recent 2 picks up in duhon and bargnani. hey man seems like you and lakers4ever have one thing in common....lakers bro loves the lakers aka kobe and you love the players u had last year :p

odom and knight for carmelo?? well not to bad of an offer but but i'm really not getting anything spectacular even though both of them are solid players. i might have considered if i had fallen back in the standing...but considering where i am at, i better not part ways with melo via this deal.

sounds like shaq's got another offer for ya...perhaps you'd like to explore that?

srry i_k, it really don't make much sense for me to take 2 good players who are gonna help me in categories that i'm already going well and give up an mvp caliber player. i appreciate you trying but like ive said before it only makes sense for me to trade melo for a 10 assist per game type of PG (and there are very few of them to being with). may be instead of 30 points a night scorer, you might find much more trade favorable 15 to 20 points per night type of scorer...guys like wally, hill, gordon, morrison.

whats up ax bro...is that right? only nash is averaging 10+ assist pre game so far this season?? we i didn't know he was the only one. i guess by me saying 10+ assist guy, i was just saying PG with close to that kind of caliber, such as kidd, nash,chris paul, tj ford...damn can't think of any other true PG with pass first mentality...i know deron williams is having an amazing season i thought of him as always SG type of PG and same with billiups, joe johnson, or baron davis.

also it looks like guys are sending offers here and there but looks like it hasn't gotten approved by both involving managers. i wouldn't mind moving jameer nelson from the magic to get another PG in return. of course would have to be a starter and im willing to take my chances esp for those under performing type of PGs like i was with murbury.
