I was just graduated then , about 4 years ago, with my master's degree and started my professional in hi-tech industry in the US. I used to chat with a girl in Nepal then. She was also just graduated with BS in computer engineer. After a month or so I was feeling different. I did not know I was already in love with her until one day she disappeared for a week without any prior notice. I waited her on my MSN like crazy. I donot know how many e-mails I had written then. She appeared after a week and told me that she had to take care of her relative in a hospital. I wanted to tell her I love her but I was so shy then. We used to chat for hours and hours everyday. Then after that, we used to write/send emails. Before starting a chat session we used to discuss about what we wrote in emails. It is my misfortunate that I could not get her in my life, But I still believe that was LOVE.

I knew almost after 5,6 months being with her that she does not do anything to hurt me, hurt my feeling. Still, I was so sensitive. It happend that my birthday came in the middle. I told my girlfriend only my nepali birthday. She was not keeping track of that date I suppose. Then came my birthday. I waited her birthday wished day and night. I even waited until next day 12:00 noon but she did not. I was immensly hurted. I took off from my office and planned to go north. Then I got my girlfriend's call next day. I prented as if nothing happened. But she was witty to figure out I was hurted. I was melted then. I told her all the truths that I went through. I guess - that was LOVE.....

Almost after 5/6 months I was too sure that I was in love with this girl. I never had experience of falling in love before. I was like drug addicted people. It is hard to believe now, I was almost insane in those days. Waiting her emails, writing long long emails and chat for ~2 hrs a day. Slowly, I started calling her in my weekend. And then alternate evenings. Once she mentioned that her head banged on floor. I felt as if my own head was banged. I called her almost every day during that time.

What u mentioned was truth from tip 2 bottom but my vision towards hurt of luv is lil' different. I also thought same as u but nowadays I have experienced dat:-

Ya I think everyone has been through this phase. Love is a beautiful thing
and is absolutely necesary thing but it can be destructive too if you are not
concious enough. The concealed love is the most dangerous one. Usually it
is a good idea to always say what you feel but there is always something
called "the right moment". If you miss this right moment you might never
get something that could actually change your life. SO until you think the
right moment has come you have to suffer. Ya I know the heart beats strangely,
your feel you are imprisoned by some invisible force and the world looses its
meaning.
So all you lovers be patient till the right moment and when the right moment
comes dont waste even a moment to express your feeling. But there is another
trap there too if he/she accepts your proposal. Once you have achieved the
thing you dearly wanted you tend to disvalue it. Never fall in this trap and try
to give a descent shot towards the relationship cause that could be the one
you were looking for. It takes more than just love to sustain a relationship.
It is a road of pain to first get love and sustain it but it is more than just worth
it so do fall in love.

I friend of mine in west coast (San Francisco) was living with a girl. I thought they were friends. I was planning to go to visit my friend in SF and I talked with my girlfriend. She did not like my idea as I would be "kaaf ko haddi there". I did not get what she meant. When I landed to my friend's apartment, he repeated all the conversation that I and my girlfriend had, like the color I like, height I have, weight I have etc etc. I felt bad and correlated this conversation with her request not to visit my friend. I asked the detail about it but she never replied me.

This hurts.....

Love hurts

I was on a trip to Canada. I told my girl friend that I was going to Canada. But I could not get time to call her before leaving and during my entire trip. I found so many phone calls and emails from her once I get back from my trip. It was only for 4 days. Slowly the chillness started on our love might be because of this incidence. I was skeptic that she did not like me or my rude behaviour etc etc. Our misuderstanding grew up somuch that I even returned her gifts that she sent me from Nepal. I returned the books that she sent me and her beautiful pictures. I cried when I posted those items to her. I still remember those moments. I think, I was madly in love with her.

USA nepali dude, it seems u are too naive and innocent and havent got a grip about the harsh realities of life. Its very normal for girls to go on a week-long trip to manakamana and chitwan with their bf. If she was claiming that she had to attend someone at the hospital, you may want to rethink about that.

You have met a few girls on the net and think that you are in love. No offence dude, but how old are you? Maybe she has emailed you few pics of her, rite? Few nice looking pics and that was good enough to blow you over and you fell for it.

Now let me tell you the harsh reality of life. Though I am not married, I have seen others facing problem with this.


A guy/gal may be successful with working visa in the usa, earning and saving thousands of dollars a month. But, he may not be that good in the looks department. Then what happens is he starts looking for very beautiful girl from Nepal coz he cant find one in USA. The good looking chick thikns: wow, this is my best opportunity to go and live in teh land of opportunity. Even though she may not like the guys's looks, she defnitnitley likes his money and ability to sponsor a visa for her. She marries and goes to the US and will start dating someone else soon coz the love and compatibility was never there. She just faked it. After all, how much can u know about others thruugh the internet?

Thats what I have to say whether you like it or not.

When i said he cant find good looking girls in the usa, i dont mean to say that there are no good looking girls in USA. There are many good looking nepali girls in USA but they will not fall for him because he may not be that good in the looks department.

Gulab rani checked out the link that you pasted!! It really does hurt. Ranju must have a solid reason to join the rebels and I am sure there are lot of nepali women who has joined the rebel force for similar reason. Had there be no police and army brutality, we'd still be livin in peace.
