need a help.

My uncle is here from last 15 months with the multiple visa of 5 years. I know his visa was already expired. While he was travelling from one state to another he had been caught by police. He was asked for identity card and he showed his expired passport. At that same reason ( expired visa ) he had been detained by police. My uncle told me that .. police told him to contact his lawyers.  Guys did u  heard any cases like this, and is there any probabilty to releases of him. Please help

Try to talk to a lawyer/immigration attorney. Ask the lawyer if he can get your uncle out on bond/bail, and extend the case long enough  so you and your uncle can figure out what to do next. Otherwise, I think they will keep your uncle in jail until he gets deported to Nepal.

I knew someone who got a deportation letter from INS (he wasnt in jail though). Lucky for him, he found a whote trash, got married and avoided deportation.

i got his call last time in friday 2nd of jan at 7 30 am ... he told me he had been caught by buffalo police while changing the bus ... later his cell phone was off, i havent got the next call from him. i tried to find out where he was kept by calling to buffalo border patrol, local police, county jail, state police, transit police.. but i just got one answer ( he is not here). what should i have to do to find him.

i talked with the lawyer, he told me lets see up to monday evening... but its too far for  me to wait....... i am so upset here.....

Try to contact the ICE ( Immigration and Custome Enforcement) office.  They are the one who might  have arrest your uncle.  US police do not have right to arrest people with expired visa ( at least in most to the states).
