I am thinking about University of Minnesota @ Moorehead and Some of my questions are:
1. Are there any scholarship opportunity for international student.?
2. What about incampus and off campus job?
3. What is cost of living and transportaion?
4. Is it better to live on campus or off campus?

Moorehead city, ok. Now makes more sense.
living offcampus is recommended since there are over hundreds of nepali living off campus.
living is cheap as long as you live with roomates and near to campus area or walking distance like 10-15 minutes walk
on campus job depends, since hundreds of nepali already working here, you need connection or luck
off campus job, you can get if you have car to drive down to job

hope this help. all these info coming out from one  going college here, living here and doing job now.

Living cost is ridiculously cheap. Living off-campus is well advised. On campus jobs will be hard to come by for reason already shared by Tommy.

Why don't you apply to Kato? It's a better school.

In any case, it's a no-lose situation. MN State unis are the most suited colleges for average students in the states, imo. You get the perfect blend of everything. Struggle, hardship, working experience and at the same time, you get a pavement to assimilate in the American society.

Good luck.

@riddle bro: why would cheap be ridiculous? i think ridiculously high is an appropriate phrase but ridiculously cheap doesnt seem right.

I went to mankato (kato) uni too. You can take upto 18 credits hour for same flat rate therefore, lots of ppl like it and there are lots of scholarship available in Kato. I recommend kato too if you haven't started process. And you might see me there too. Cuz I still have some frens there and in fact I am going tonight there for Nepal Night.
Riddle bro nepal night ko lagi kato jane hoina ta.

I'll try to answer your questions in brief:
First of all it is not University of Minnesota Moorhead, it's Minnesota State University Moorhead.

1. Are there any scholarship opportunity for international student.?
You'll get in-state tuition and it may cost you about $4,000 a semester.

 2. What about incampus and off campus job?
There are may international students (mostly Nepalese) working on campus. mostly in cafeteria. You may find On campus job if you're lucky.

You should be able to find off campus job if you use your SSN. Since you mentioned you have a Car, it shouldn't be a problem.

3. What is cost of living and transportaion?
Cost of living is relatively cheap. One bedroom may cost you about $350 - $400. Two bedroom around $500-$600. You'll have no problem finding a nepali roommate.

Since you've a car, transportation costs depends on how much you'll be travelling. Since most students live nearby school, they walk to school.

4. Is it better to live on campus or off campus?
It's always better to live off campus, first: it's cheap to live off campus, second: you've more choices.

Last:  one more thing how is weather at moorehead?
Winter sucks in Fargo/Moorhead. It gets really cold in winter, temperature falling below (-20F). But you'll get used to it. But people enjoy their short-lived summer. People go fishing, camping etc. They try to get most out of the summer.

By the way, there aren't many gas stations owned by Indian/Pakistanis in that area.
