Your future wage that you would receive depends on what, and where you are applying from.As an example, if you were applying to be a developer somewhere in Denver, your prevailing wages would look like below. You can easily find out where 80K lies for your area, and that would accurately tell you if you need less, or more. I hope that helps. If your wages are somewhere in the middle, or higher, you should be good.Even if you are at a Level 1 wage that does not mean you will be rejected. It just cannot be lower than Level 1 wage unless it is a part-time job which i am fairly certain that your's is not.

Area Title:Denver-Aurora-Lakewood, CO MSA
Level 1 Wage:$36.15 hour - $75,192 year
Level 2 Wage:$44.05 hour - $91,624 year
Level 3 Wage:$51.96 hour - $108,077 year
Level 4 Wage:$59.86 hour - $124,509 year
Mean Wage (H-2B):$51.96 hour - $108,077 year
