I'm in the same boat bhuntekaji. You must fill the I-765, for sure. Also, if you put photocopy of documents showing your TPS approvals from the past, you should be okay.
And like bikram said, all the important documents on the side. Do you know the fees though? My TPS app without EAD that I filed in December is pending, but I paid biometric fee already. So I was only planning to pay I 765 fee. However, I read in another thread that some guys got email from USCIS asking to biometric fee again. I cannot afford to mess up TPS EAD application because if I do not get H1b this year, I cannot continue working beyond July, as my OPT EAD is expiring.
