You are happy because you came in DV. You expectation is different. But for those F1 students who spent tons of money to achieve education, it is very hardship for them. Their expectation is different. They are not legally allowed to work as DV winners. Hence these students are the sufferers in US. Even after graduation, there is a big huddle to pass to ontain the H1B visa.

Hence, there is a big difference between being happy in DV status vs being student with fragile life. There is no comparision.

DV winners and asylum winners have pretty much the same story.
