@Seeker77- During the initial registration of TPS, I did apply for TPS with EAD and I am on H1b. As long as you do not use your TPS EAD, your current H1B status remains active and there will be no impact on H1b.
Seems like one should include form I-765 even if he/she does not want EAD?
That's 100% correct, you should include form I-765 regardless of whether you want EAD or not.
if someone does not opt for EAD card in the initial filing process, can he/she request later?
Yes, he/she can request later as long as TPS has been filed during USCIS given date. One of my friend did apply for EAD later and got it approved with no issues.
