Also, I see that there are many questions about first time tps applicants and I think we should make it clear that this time around it is just a tps extension and not "re-designation", so only those who have tps approved or pending can apply for the extension.
However, there is still a slim chance for those who have not previously applied for tps but may be eligible to apply this time around with "late initial registration provision" (source: page 2 of https://s3.amazonaws.com/public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2016-25907.pdf ) but even then, physical presence in US on June 24th/25th 2015 is mandatory to file the late initial registration application otherwise you won't meet the continuous presence criteria.
