The reigning Miss Nepal International Medha Koirala is currently in Japan to represent Nepal at the 55th edition of Miss International 2015. The 20 year old from Kathmandu will be competing with 69 other delegates at the grand finale to be held on November 5 at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Hiten Hall in Tokyo. The reigning Miss International Valerie Hernandez of Puerto Rico will crown her successor at the event this Thursday.
Koirala was crowned Miss Nepal International earlier this year on April 18th at the 20th annual Miss Nepal beauty pageant, a week before the nation was hit by the massive earthquake. She had been actively participating in the recovery and rebuilding campaigns. She also initiated a project titled ‘Muskann’ which started on September 5, where the children from Muskaan Sewa Nepal were given singing classes with the aim to perform a musical concert at the end. The project held in collaboration with Nepal Music Center did actually succeed in bringing back the smiles of children who were the victims of the quake. Watch the video below.
