Bittertruth, It is good to know that you are living a life that many people consider only a theoretical possibility and some people may consider as an ideal life.

For me, the quest for happiness gives an energy to move forward. I will be happier tomorrow when today's unhappiness and failure will turn into success. I would be waiting for Christmas after Thanksgiving and Halloween are over, same as waiting to celebrate tihar after dashain is over and wait for shivaratri after tihar is over. Actually I am planning to move from a place where we have a year round same 'pleasant' season to a place where seasons actually change. And, highest aim in life is to become a Brahman. I know that I may not be able to achieve that highest level in my whole life, but I should always try to go near it. When I am one step up I will be happier than before. I don't think we need to consider it a problem, it is animal (not only human) nature.
