That's actually a good argument. But is that why you have a Nepali passport? So that Nepal would protect you?
If you still have a Nepali rupees, any denomination, it says "नेपाल सरकारको जमानत प्राप्त यसको रुपैया भुक्तानी माग्न आएमा नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकबाट .. रुपैया तुरुन्त पाइञ्छ." Now, is that the purpose of a Rupee? To get the भुक्तानी back from Nepal Rashtriya bank?
