It should be no surprise that you need to be rooted in order to get ICS in your WF. HTC certainly has no plans of bringing ICS to this device. If you want to get on the ICS train, you need to learn how to root your phone. There are bunch of method for flashing your STOCK ROM, I am recommending you this method. Once you have root access flash your STOCK GB ROM to CyanogenMod 9. CM 9 is Custom build ICS ROM.
