For example, lets say, there is a game in week 5 between Patriots (lets assume 5-0) and Jaguars (1-4 lets assume).

Looking at the record, we know that Patriots are stronger, and probability of them wining is almost 99%. So everybody without any thought will select patriots for that week, and will get three points if patriots win.

But, it will not be fair if someone uses his brain, and thinks that although Jaguars are not as good as patriots, but for some certain reasons, they might win, and he selects Jaguars. If jaguars win he gets 3 points. I think, in this case, he should get more points, lets say he gets four points.

It should be like this,

If patriots win, you get 3 points.

If Jaguars win, you get 4 points.

And also, there are fewer teams in playoffs. And the points for each win for playoff games should be at least 6. So if your selected team wins in wildcard or divisional playoff, you get 6 points not 3. Similarly, in conference, may be you get 9 points, and in Superbowl, you get 12 points if your selected team wins.

I think this is more scientific, but you don't have to agree with me.

This year season is over, but it will be a good idea for next season.
