I used to get scared and disturbed mentally when I was young when people talk about this. But not anymore. Mayan calendar came to be hoax, so does this. The statue is coming up because of the scientific reason, may be the soil increases down below it and pushes up. About the god, I don't know if he or she really exists, matter of fact, I haven't seen him/ her. So....
