While I am clueless about the inception of ANA,it's motives,it's works and it's gatherings(I haven't been to any)  I do feel that it has failed to produce the results upto it's caliber.Being an organisation that locates itself in the most developed country with limitless resources and with people who carry outstanding talents,ANA and other Nepali organisations have been treading in a turtle pace when it comes down to deliver work.The surprising fact is only very few Nepali--living in Nepal--knows about such an important organisation that exist in USA and it clearly shows no big work has been done to help and facilitate nepali community living in US and Nepal.We read news about the students who makes schools in Nepal while visiting,people who take part in social service while in vacation but it is very rare to come across the news of Nepali organisation doing anything!.It is praise worthy too,of gathering all scattered Nepali in a common place and holding a conference,while fun and camaraderie is something we Nepali carry in our bones and is a must ,but ,the organisers should not also forgot the greater purpose behind such events and must come with some terrific ideas that can put down to work and make effects to make it known.ANA and other organisation shouldn't be limited in just holding a confrenece from coast to coast without offering any helping hands to Nepal otherwise it's value will be nothing other that a party for a week,sight-seeing of ladies,indulging in beers and mere a sporting event.I see so much more it is capable of doing.
