I started reading this rumination with a heavy bias, I blame it on the title of the post.

I expected to see complaints about what one was expecting US to be and what it turned out, the regular complaints of the disappointed Nepalis in America. But it wasn't the case.

Maybe because Nepal ji is not just a politician but also a writer that he persuaded me to agree with every point he has brought up. Yes, we do tend to complain too much about Nepal, sitting here in US...part of it is the reason why we left Nepal; but now that we left the country we don't have as much right to constantly complain about its governance when we aren't doing anything about it. Also, I liked his point about how America discriminates against a political (communist) party, very aptly put.
