my goodness you are all over the place with your logic. Christianity by definition starts AFTER Jesus Christ. The old testament about Adam and Eve is the story of creation. So what should christians do in your opinion?. What answers are you waiting for?. What fault does Jesus have in this?. Christians already know about the Incest part in Creation, so what are you trying to prove?. You know Jesus talked about morality. He spoke againsts the bad practices in those times. He talked about sin and the sanctity of marriage. 
See you questioned why they need to evolve. The answer is many followers did not lead by example. Of the many who did, they changed life with what they did based on their faith of Jesus's  teachings. Mother Teresa and Florence Nightingale did it in the service of God. Those with Faith grew over time.
Moral values have started deteriorating again. People were greedy last time, they are greedy now. People have lost Faith since they equate God to candy. Faith has begun to disappear. 
This is the whole problem. Religion plays an important role in shaping a positive society. 
Bro, i understand where you are going with the cruelty thing, yes it is cruel i do agree. But at least as a society, people do get fined for being cruel to animals. Stray dogs and cats are taken care of. It is not a perfect world out here.
Yes, life is still cruel. It will never be perfect regardless which religion is supreme. 
But we must strive to make it egalitarian and meritocratic as best as we can. 
Religion understands life as a suffering. There is no Utopia out here.
