Again, thank you so much for going through my gibberish. It gives me utmost pleasure that there actually are people who care to read such stories amid posts like ‘nepali porn movie’ and ‘khate prachanda’. Not that I have any resentment towards such posts, but I believe that we, as educated Nepalese have substantial knowledge and wisdom to post/read a little better than that. We could argue that it is the nature of the beast - subjects regarding explicit sex, drug usage, controversies and conspiracy theories sell best. But I reiterate that wading past them not only demonstrates our maturity but it also helps augment our personal and professional growth.
Last week in SB, I was almost cursed out by an anonymous user calling me a ‘two faced’ personality. That person mentioned that I tend to be more ethical and prudent while posting in kurakani but become a shameless gossiper in SB speaking about my crushes in yesteryear’s sajha members. While I do not want to prove that person wrong, I do want to make a clear distinction about SB and kurakani. The fact is, SB is a pool of few people and the platform is to create a healthy, humorous and friendly atmosphere with a little flirting, repartee, one liner and jokes, it is a real time chat that survives in giddy and playful conversations. It should not be taken seriously because the entire act is just ‘momentary’. However subjects in kurakani cater to a large crowd, much larger, and the message is propagated all cross the planet completely misinterpreting such perky and lighthearted discourse.
I am not trying to defend myself, I guess I am just thinking out loud, and completely understand that it makes very little sense to many, especially when it is on a different note than the article I posted above.  But each time I come across articles from rahulvai, deep, geology tiger, serial, dipika, lynx and many other stalwarts of sajha I feel blessed to be a part of this community. I also feel blessed when I see constructive criticism provided by the repliers on articles without name-calling and baseless accusations. The reason I write is not to reap likes and comments, but to instill the much needed wisdom in all of us, urging everyone to discern between a quality and non-quality post and cultivate elegant posts as much as we all can.
YAWN!
