But then the implied fact here is, I was so distressed by the departure of a close friend, I just wanted to reach out to everyone and tell them that I love them before I lose them. I mentioned my ex girlfriend because I could have called everyone without hesitation but her. And of course, it was also because of the mixture of alcohol and my eccentricity.
