@fantush,  you are absolutely right. There is a huge misconception that ab-crunching 1000 times gives more result whereas they don't really care what they put into the system. They don't even know their daily calorie intake need. They follow some programs and work on it ,but ignore totally about diet aspect. They think intense workout gives them result but the fact is they are not getting anywhere.  Why?? 
because 'a poor diet can waste all the effort in the gym' . 

Everyone should remember that home workout is alternative to your regular workout routine unless you have full-fledged home gym. I personally recommend going to gym, it is efficient, time-saving, productive and faster results. The energy in the gym is vibrant, don't forget that your spirit aspect of your body as well. We obviously feel more energetic in the gym than working out alone in the corner of home, why? there is a reason. I don't want to go more on it. 

Body fitness or body building is 80% about what happens in the kitchen, 20% in the gym.

Calories if taken more than needed result more fat accumulation. Simple to understand. :D 

Btw, avoid all sugary drinks, processed food or fast food. whatever. I remember few weeks ago, in some state they're banning large sugary drink to tackle the growing obesity. They're right, drink one of those sugary drink for a week, come back and tell me, how much weight you put on :D
