I remember reading the poem in Gulmohar book - Class 6..... The teacher teaching us that poem was Late Poet Machhendra Pradhan. He took 4 days to teach the poem, explaining every meaning that could come out of the lines..... Its my all time favourite..... Thank you Cheli
The list of the best writer/poet in Nepali literature may not every enlist late Machhendra Pradhan, but his noble "Nilkantha" won him the highest literary award in India and many other. He may not be well known but would have served Nepali literature well if he would not have been entangled in family life & business.
