Its faith and belief.  If you do not believe your partner than you will find mistakes in his every action but if you believe him, everything seems right.

On the other hand, why did he had a situation where he had to go to dance restaurant and massage parlour? Did you tried to find the solution before you dumping him? Or were you so angry with him that you didnt spoke to him? Relationship stands on regular frank communicaton, and if you have not done that or if you are not prepared to do that, your relationship will not go far.

However, I am not saying he did right by going to dance restaurant and massage parlour... He could have tried to solve any issues or asked you to go to the dance bar/ massage parlour together......
