hey there, you said you prefer to live in the East Coast but I know some good universities for MIS which are not in East Coast...however I would share it with you cuz you might wanna reconsider where you wanna live..check out University of Texas at Austin, University of Arizona and Georgia Institute of Technology. Cost are all less than $10k per year and some for less than $7k. And these are among the tpo 10 schools for MIS nationwide according to USNews (link below). The grads from UT has the highest job placement rate and highest average starting salaries (link below).

hey, now my query, actually I started college with the thought that I wanna do Computer Science but then I recently found MIS and it sounds so interesting to me..so I have been researching on this if I wanna do it or not..I have been thinking a lot about it. I would like to know your experience..why did you choose MIS? how do you feel about it? I dont see much people doing MIS.
and also, my community college doesnt have an associate in MIS..so I decided just to do associate in business and then go to Univ. for MIS coz its very similar in basic requirements. do you think its a good decision? I would like to see you degree plan for associate in MIS. Can you post it here or give me the link I would check it out.
