I have no idea about the wimming pool, but if it was the swimming pool,
when the water reaches the 4 ft deep area, it implies the 12 ft deep area is already filled. Hence, whole length and breadth is considered.
Flow rate: 50 cu.ft/min
Area: 75 * 30 sq. ft
the rate at which the water will be rising is
50 / (75*30) ft/min
=1/45 = 0.02222 ft/min
= 1.333 ft/hr.
Once again, if it is the wimming pool, no idea, who knows the wimming pool may absorb water,
