Former army chief Katawal to float political party
Former chief of Nepal Army Rookmangud Katawal is all set to launch a new political party.

It is learnt that Katawal will announce the party named 'Samyukta Rastriya Manch' amidst a programme in Dhangadhi of Kailali district on May 13.
Speaking on behalf of Katawal, one Chandra Saud said the former army chief decided to launch a political party as the existing parties have already proved to be incompetent.
He said the party's central committee is in the process of being finalised.
Saud, however, did not disclose the names of persons who are joining Katawal's party.
Katawal, who made political comments on a number of occasions, during and after his army stint, but had not joined any political group. nepalnews.com
