I have a unique H1 situation. My lawyer says he has already sent all the paperwork but hasn't received the confirmation yet. I applied around the third week of April as I work for a non profit organization, which can apply H1 around the year. When I ask my lawyer he says it is taking so long because we didn't apply on April 1. Is anyone in the similar situation or know somebody who has been int his kind of situation? Thanks.
