I had a good impression of Bhimsen Thapa; it is good to learn different aspect from someone at CNAS.

I don't think that the writer is favoring for Ranas or Shahs by wrtiting this article. He simply wrote what he learned from history books in contrast to maoists propagandas. Jung Bahadur made those pillars; that's the truth; that's why it's still called "Junge Pillar". But he also pushed our country into the dark era behind many decades by not allowing anyone from getting education when other countries were having scientific discoveries. Jung Bahadur also imprisoned king Rajendra with the help of his own son Surendra. After Jung Bahadur's death, his offsprings also faced a bad misfortune from Jung Bahadur's own brothers. So it seems like bad deeds did get punished and will get punished.
