The writer is a historian, a professor of history in TU and was also in School of Oriental and African Studies in London. He has the authority to speak on these matters.
To say that Bhimsen is not Shah or Rana is to expose your ignorance to others. First read history and then talk.
To Newlynew: yea, now I will learn history from sajha! Or from Maoists or other ethnocentric blogs. You want me to believe they will be impartial.
Most of the historians in TU's history department, including Newars and Limbus, have spoken against Maoists and spoken in favor of Prithvi Narayan Shah, eventhough most of them have criticized other kings such as Rajendra, Surendra, Ranabahadur etc. I would suggest people here to read history books themselves and make ideas rather than follow some jatibadi neta/maowadi neta to understand our country.
