Duracell's advice is great. Even if the Big 4 firms don't interview at your school, you can always contact the regional HR person directly. If you tell me which state/area you are in, I could try to find out the contact info. If you have any questions about what kind of questions the Big Four Firms ask PM me, I can help you with that. If you don't get an interview with the Big Four, you could always try the local regional firms (big regional firms pay almost as much as the Big Four). However, there is no substitute to the training and networking opportunities the Big Four provide. Most accounting firms pay for your CPA test prep course (or give you a bonus for passing your CPA tests).
In case you don't know what Big Four are- Big Four are the four largest public accounting firms namely E&Y, Deloitte,PwC and KPMG.
