Whoever burns tyre on this issue is an idiot. Its like those Idiot Muslims demonstrating for cartoon about their prophet. How they didn't realise that they made a joke out of themselves and their intolerant religion. If this so called Prabhat and her daugther studying in Notre Dame were intelligent enough they would have solemnly asked the shop manager to remove the fitting from the statue and expressed their feelings about what they saw. I am 99% sure that the manager would have complied to their request. That what differentiates West from ever self-destructing East (i.e burning tyres in the streets of Kathmandu for something that happened in Geneva).

Surely they wouldn't put up a statue of Buddha in their shop if they did not revere him. He just didn't realise that it is a disrespect in Eastern society to do something like this and also surely Switzerland is not East. People don't burn tyre in the West if an Eastern leader burps in a dinner party even though it is a sign of disrespect in the West and a sign of having thoroughly enjoyed the meal in the East.
