I think it is going to be hard for Nepalese of all kinds to feel as one one.  We were taught not to touch the untouchables, respect the brahmins etc etc but now I see where Nepal is headed.  I have seen rai's talking smack about bahuns in the US ( on some rai/magar parade), Sherpas having an ill feeling towards all nepali jats except their own, newars speaking newari to show solidarity, bahuns thinking they are the superior human....and a lot of these are widely practised in the US

We can sit in our comfy chairs, air conditioned houses and talk high but in Nepal its a whole new game, things are manipulated, emotions played with to profit the needs of the party.  So I just hope people change in time before we see the "divide and rule"
