American Beauty was an absolutely amazing movie! The ones who didn't like it must not have gotten the message that the movie wanted to deliver.

Slumdog Millionaire was vastly overrated.Why the hell is Anil Kapoor collecting all the accolades and making appearances in every single award function? His role was absolutely comic. During the entire movie, he's portrayed as someone who's got a lot at stake - should Salim win the contest. A. Kapoor is outraged on a number of occasions and at times, he intimidates Salim into quitting but at the end of the movie, he's all claps and handshakes which was absolutely bizarre.

The movie must have received all the hype because of its portrayal of Indian poverty. Don't rich audiences love to see how poverty is portrayed?
