six string,
You got it right. I agree with you 100%. We Nepali cannot do much, but the brute force against a peaceful demonstration is unnecessary. The issue of "Free Tibet" is very popular in the West, there's much more exposure and headline than anything that happens in Nepal. By that account, Western people(maybe not the government) is going to raise the voice. Simple common sense is enough there.Their government would not say anything even if India or China were to invade Nepal right now. To involve their government in such delecate affaird will be almost impossible. But unlike China where freedom of Press and Speech is suppressed, the people in the West is definetly going to speak up or post it on youtube. We're f##Ked up no matter what we do. Last time we deported few Tibetan refugees, we lost our quota for the garment exports to the US initiated and canceled by Senator Barbara Boxer of California. Some business of Nepal suffered a real blow. I hope nothing happens to our country again, cause it is more intense this time. There's no Western media or tourist in Lhasa of right now, I cannot imagine how many Tibetans will be killed.
Nepali, looks like you DO NOT know the difference between DUMPLING and DUMPING. Sorry, I didn't realize your level of education, I'll take that back. Can you please turn off the CAPS at least?
