Well (putting on his wanna-be doctor/quack hat), hmm, gastritis by any chance? Just kidding. I know of someone who had gastritis (Nepal's national ailment) and acidity and they didn't drink anything hot either. They had to wait for their beverage to cool down before drinking it. Which makes me think, shouldn't we have a resident doctor here in N'Land? LOL! Any takers?
