imi, i might not a muslim scholar or have studied theology, but i believe that islam is a religion, a belief system for more tahn a billion people. listen to what mainstream scholars have to say, how most citizens in the middle east feel.. they have never justified countless terrorist acts brought upon by these disillusion, mindless youths. as for thier frustration with america, well they may have the right to be frustrated. i dont' know much about that. i find some aspects of islam very disturbing personally, like the one to kill all polytheists and idolators and that applies to hindus and i am a hindu; so according to quran i should be killed. the command to slay and spread religion by sword is again is also quite violent. but i have never met a muslim who thinks that polytheists should be murdered or all jews and christians are enemies or that they should be killed. but again, all the muslsims that i have come are relativly moderate and liberal. my point is, islam is a belief system for more than a billion people around the world. yes tehre are some horrific, devastating tragedies brought about by some of these people claiming to fight for their faith, but it is not right or fair to the rest to make a judgemnt on thier faith.most of the muslism are just ordinary people trying to remain alive, trying to cope with decades of war, mournign the deaths of thier dear ones ........... just because the news does not claim : NEWSFLASH: BILLION MUSLISMS ARE NOT TERRORISTS AND ARE NOT ATTACKING NON-MUSLIMS does not mean we should believe all of them as alike. there is no black and white aspect of this. if there were, this new clash of monotheism would not be such a complicated, intricrate problem in modern history to this very moment.
