LOOTE: Frequently Asked Questions Interviews If you have the opportunity, we encourage you to accept an invitation to meet with a member of one of our Princeton Alumni Schools Committees. We have volunteers in many areas in North America and throughout the world. If there are sufficient volunteers in your area, you will be contacted by an interviewer after you submit your application. An interview is not required for admission to Princeton and you will not be at a disadvantage if you happen to live in an area where our volunteers are not available. We do not conduct on-campus interviews, but we invite you to visit Princeton, if possible, to learn more about the University. Matriculation Students may only begin an undergraduate degree program at Princeton in the fall semester. Admitted students may request to defer their enrollment for one year in order to travel, work, perform military service, or to pursue other activities—as long as they do not enroll full-time at another college or university. Requests for deferrals, including extension for a second year, must be made in writing to the Admission Office. Transfer Admission Princeton does not offer a transfer admission option. We consider students who have begun college or university studies elsewhere to be transfer applicants. We do not permit such students to apply for freshman admission. Financial Aid Princeton offers one of the strongest need-based financial aid programs available. You may apply for financial aid at www.princeton.edu/aid.
