If you increase your territory by invading others, of course native would wave their flags. What amounted to be half of Mexican territory has been snatched by US in the past. Texas was taken for fine agricultural production, cotton in particular, which turned out to be the major commodity. New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah and Nevada, all of them belonged to Mexico as well. California was taken to make the harbor in the pacific and make US a continental empire. These lands had potential value for Mexicans in future even though when they were taken was pretty wild. So, these all facts prove that US does not have even a bit of right to call Mexicans illegal here. Any Mexican whoever is here, they can take themselves as native more than European immigrants.
