During open enrollment, my understanding is that you will get insurance through the marketplace (affordable care~Obamacare). Despite the fact that the price shown to you may appear very high, you will be subsidized and pay less than $100 (this dependes upon income). I'm not sure why you want your parents to be financially dependent on you. They can pay less than $30 a month if they can file their taxes on their own with little to no wages. If you live in Maryland, you can use the Maryland Health connection app or visit a local office to do so. They will ask you to sign a piece of paper (to show you don't have any) if you don't have any money. There are several choices, one of which is keiser.
