I agree with Anand ji - these new leaders are intellectuals type like Obama. And, it is just hard for them to become the prime minister under parliamentary system for the next 2 decades. If there is a directly elected president system, then they might have a chance.

I am not a big fan of Mishra. He was a reporter for BBC. That makes him a good critic, but I am not sure about his leadership qualities. Even Rabi lamichhane made fun of him when he asked Lamichhane to join the politics. Lamichhane said something like "he does not want to be another Mishra". 😬
