When it says that you have to send money via western union, its a SCAM.

use your common sense...why would you send money in embassy at Britain instead of sending it to USCIS itself in US..only this reason proves this is scam ...rest dont even bother

One of my fren got the Same email few months ago. This is a scam. There should be some mechanism to punish those people who send this kind of letters.
Ajha Hera na, u can take as many family members u want re!!! Last hasayo....

 IT is a scam. Sending money through western union means its a scam. You can always go to dvlottery.state.gov and verify your case number if you would have save it. Also as someone already mentioned, the money should be send to USCIS if it is legimate not to an embassy..Don't go for it.

Sounds legit. Green card plus health insurance, guaranteed job and free apartment wherever I chose for 3 months for $879 can't be that bad.

I'd report this to:
http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx

Also, get back to them saying you are interested but want to talk to them. Have them call you at: 1-800-225-5324.
