I just have the questions for lawyers around sajha.com. If have the US citizen, and want to apply for the sibling PR through I-130, i heard that the petition time would be around 10 yrs to get the PR for the sibling.

My question is during the petition after filing all the required documents, would my sibling be able to enter US if he is there is Nepal.

How long would it take to be cleared in case of Nepal. Anyone with same experience????? Or any way around or loopholes?

I am not a lawyer. Here is what i found in Google.

The Fourth
Preference Family Based (FB4) category permits immigrant visa
petitions to be filed on behalf of brothers and sisters of United
States citizens. Due to the large number of petitions filed in
this category a backlog has developed. Estimates range anywhere
from a nine to 20 year wait. Only 65,000 FB4 green cards are issued
per year, and with the number of siblings wishing to obtain a
green card, it is unlikely that the wait will decrease. The use
of the FB4 category to facilitate the issuance of a green card
is not a viable option.
